Folsom Street Fair Rebrand: 2021 Post-COVID Re-opening

in 2020, The Folsom Street Fair, under COVID-19 restraints, was held online. This work, a speculative rebrand with a focus on new type treatments, is meant to promote inclusivity and show the full community celebrated by the fair. The current brand is cold and hyper masculine, catering to the history of the fair being “only for white gay men” and “castro-clones.” This rebrand aims to celebrate the kink/leather community as a warm and welcoming one made of people of all races, genders, sexualities, sizes and socio-economic class. I do not own the rights to any photography used in these speculative pieces.
