Family Neologisms

Bound in a traditional concertina fashion, this book is a sort of dictionary, recording the language (or “lingo”) used by my friends as well as my Italian-Irish-Catholic family and the stories that these words are derived from. the handmade paper features the stories from my family as subtle breaks in the flow of the dictionary form. Materials include hand-bound handmade paper from recycled encyclopedias, wintergreen image transfers and digital printing.
